COLUMBUS KNIGHTS ENJOY XMAS JINKS

About 150 local and visiting Knights of Columbus enjoyed the big Christmas jinks of Berkeley Council held in their clubrooms on Addison street last evening. Santa Claus, impersonated by one of the members, appeared in the midst of a musical program, and calling those present by name, distributed gifts from a beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
Many toy balloons were loosed in the hall and for a time were the main attraction, being kicked and buffeted about until exploded by the application of lighted cigars.
